 This is a group exercise with the ultimate purpose of creating a piece of art that includes every team member’s contribution. Our ceramics’ instructor will first give a brief overview of the particular art field, she will then instruct the basic principles and techniques to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge to get the creation process under way.

 

With the instructor’s help an end design will be agreed upon so that the team can begin their division of labor with each individual being assigned a dedicated tile to create.

 

The creation process will run under the close supervision and guidance to ensure a smooth application of the newly learned techniques. In the end the tiles will be fired to 800 ⁰C to ensure durability and the final creation delivered to the team 48 hours later.

 

It will be yours to keep and decorate your workspace while reminding everyone of the wonderful, relaxing and creative experience which they shared.

 

This activity takes place in a relaxed, ambient ceramics workshop in the old town of Nicosia. With an adjustment to the cost it can be transferred to any other location.
