Powerboat Courses

Whether you are planning to take the Cyprus Local Powerboat license or just need a brush up or training from scratch, this is an ideal course for powerboat enthusiasts.

The RYA Powerboat Level 1 course gives you the knowledge and practical skills to safely handle a small powerboat, and will give you the confidence to make day trips along the coast. Level 1 is also designed for crew (and spouses!) who might not want to drive the boat, but should be comfortable about safety.

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It includes Close quarters handling, high-speed manoeuvres, and man overboard recovery and collision regulations.

	Venues: Latchi (Paphos)
	Duration: Level 1 – 14 hours Level 2 - 16 hours
	Availability: All year round. However this is a weather dependant activity.
	Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear flat, non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes).
	Booking: 3 Days in advance.
	Restrictions: Mimimum age is 16. Maximum number of persons aboard is 3.
	Additional Info: There are a number of meze and fish restaurants and bars nearby within the marina.
