Cooking in Tinos

Arrival in Tinos, a beautiful island with amazing beaches and rugged mountainous beauty, and traditional villages.

Transfer to Tripotamo where you will participate in a cooking seminar. A Greek cook will teach us how to prepare Greek – Cycladic traditional recipes using local ingredients from her garden. Focus is on local cheese, the famous Tinian dried tomatoes, zucchini and other fresh vegetables. After cooking we will enjoy a meal with what we prepared.

After lunch, you can either drive back to town or, if you wish, hike down to the town of Tinos, admiring the breathtaking view to the Aegean Sea. (Estimated hiking time: 1 ½ - 2 hours)

We recommend that you visit the beautiful traditional village of Pyrgos, renowned for its central square with a huge plane tree and numerous marble sculpture workshops. Dont miss the marble sculpture museum !
