Enjoy a relaxing getaway with short walks in a beautiful village while staying at a traditional stone house that has recently been renovated to perfection. Complete your experience tasting various wines at a nearby winery and a vineyard tour where you will learn everything you ever wanted on wine making and tasting..You will also be entitled to two bottles of wine of your selection or one bottle of koumandaria.
Day 1 – Arrival and walk in PotamitissaCheck in is at 11:00. Visit Potamitissa village. During a walk in the village you can watch and learn the process of Cyprus local cheese - halloumi – making. Alternatively you can visit the Diplopotamos Bridge or the oldest standing olive tree in Cyprus. Perhaps relaxing with a short walk in the nature sounds another good idea.
Day 2 – Wine TastingEnjoy a delicious breakfast under the sound of the birds. Check out is at 11:00 although you might request a late check out. Another walk in Potamitissa might be a good idea. When you decide to return to the city, you will stop by a nearby winery. There you will have a vineyard tour where your guide will explain the history of winemaking in Cyprus, the various types of vines while demonstrating the different methods of wine tasting.
