Sailing Introductory Course

Splice the main brace, shiver me timbers and other such nautical nonsense... there'll be none of that on this experience, which offers an introduction to sailing in a friendly and informal atmosphere aboard a 19ft Gaff Rigged Cornish Shrimper.

It's great fun, exhilarating and relaxing at the same time, and the best way to experience the beauty and freedom of the open sea. After coffee, biscuits and a safety briefing, your Yacht-master skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing and in no time at all you'll be sailing through the open waters. Then you can put theory into practice or you can just sit back in the cockpit and let the crew do the hard work while you relax and enjoy an afternoon at sea.

	Venues: Latchi (Paphos).
	Duration: 2 hours course.
	Availability: All year round, however this is a weather dependant activity.
	Dress Code: Dress warmly and wear flat, soft-soled shoes, e.g. deck shoes or trainers. Wear lots of layers, as even in summer it can get cold out at sea. Optionally bring an anorak, lip balm and sun block. Life jackets will be provided.
	Booking: 3 Days in advance.
	Restrictions: Maximum number of persons aboard is 3.
	Additional Info: There are a number of meze and fish restaurants, bars nearby within the marina.
