The Legends of British Football 4 Days Tour |

This 4 day UK tour is especially for football fanatics and includes visits to the homes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal as well as the New Wembley Stadium!
ItineraryDay 1: Arsenal's Emirates StadiumWe rendezvous in London with our fellow passengers at the ‘Gateway Hotel’ near Heathrow Airport. Following a short team meeting to deal with the introductions and a few essential formalities, we kick off the tour with a visit to the state of the art Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal FC. The stadium tour includes access to the first team dressing room, player’s tunnel, director’s box and press conference facilities as well as the spectacular interactive Arsenal museum which exhibits memorabilia from Arsenal's famous history.
We then travel to Nottingham to view the statue of Brian Clough, the controversial former Nottingham Forest Manager who led the club to unprecedented European Cup success in the 1970’s and became known as ‘The Best Manager that England never had’ as well as the subject of the 2009 film ‘The Damned United’. We stay overnight in Nottingham. Day 2: Liverpool's Anfield StadiumWe leave Nottingham after breakfast to travel to Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC, where we will follow in the footsteps of legends like Shankly, Paisley and Dalglish and visit the dressing room used by modern day icons Gerrard and Torres then walk down the tunnel touching the world famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign as well as visiting the LFC museum packed with memorabilia of Liverpool’s glorious history.
We then travel to Manchester for a two-night stay. Day 3: Manchester United's Old Trafford StadiumToday we will visit Old Trafford, Manchester United’s ‘Theatre of Dreams’, the largest club stadium in the UK, made famous by the likes of Busby, Charlton, Law, Best, Cantona and more recently Beckham, Giggs, Ronaldo and Rooney. We will visit the player’s dressing room and Sir Alex Ferguson’s pitchside dugout spot before touring the museum and sacred trophy room to view the memorabilia of the clubs 130 years global success then visit the club shop.
In the afternoon we plan to visit the new National Football Museum at the Urbis Exhibition Centre once it opens in autumn 2011 – for tours prior to the opening we plan to spend the afternoon at the Trafford Shopping Centre. Day 4: New Wembley Stadium - The home of British FootballOn our final day we take the road south to Wembley, ‘The Home of English Football’, for the ultimate stadium tour where we will visit the England changing room, the players tunnel, climb the sacred trophy winners’ steps, raise the replica FA Cup and relive Wembley’s greatest moments on video. We then return you to the ‘Gateway’ Hotel for around 6pm and say our goodbyes… Need to KnowPlease note the stadium tours are subject to availability and changes by the operator and we may have to adapt our tour if our visits clash with matches or other stadium usage.
