ItineraryDay 1: Manchester - Fort WilliamWe rendezvous with our fellow challengers at our meeting point in Manchester. Following introductions and a few essential formalities, we set out on the journey north into Scotland to our hotel at Fort William at the base of Ben Nevis for our first overnight stay where we will prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead! Day 2: Climb Ben NevisToday we will hike to the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest of the three peaks at 1344 metres (4409ft) by the main path from Glen Nevis. The walk usually takes around five hours and you will have time for a few short breaks to take in the breathtaking scenery before returning to the mini-coach to travel south back into England for our second overnight stay. Day 3: Climb Scaffel PikeOur second peak is Scafell Pike (978 metres – 3209ft) where we will take the path to the summit from Wasdale Head through Lingmell Gill passing Brown Tongue. This walk also takes around five hours and, on a clear day, the scene of your next challenge (Snowdonia) will be visible as well as panoramic views of the Lake District. We then travel into Wales for our final overnight rest stay to prepare for the final ascent! Day 4: Climb SnowdonOn our final day we will complete the Three Peaks Challenge by trekking up Mount Snowdon (1085 metres – 3560ft). We will take the Pyg Track to the summit from the Pen-y-Pass car park.
